Solvaria Recognized in Virginia Chamber’s 25th Fantastic 50 Award

Solvaria Named Among the Top 50 Fastest Growing Small Businesses in Virginia

May 4,2020

Richmond, Va., – Solvaria, Richmond’s only IT consultancy focused exclusively on database services and strategic IT leadership, was recently included in Virginia Chamber’s Fantastic 50 Award. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the Fantastic 50 program is the only statewide awards program of its kind which honors the fifty fastest growing companies in the Commonwealth.

“Small business is the heart of our economy and we are pleased to honor the entrepreneurial spirit and hard work of Virginia’s fifty fastest growing businesses,” said Barry DuVal, President and CEO of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce. “Although we are unable to honor these business leaders and their dedicated teams in-person, due to COVID-19, we applaud each of these companies who continue to set the bar higher every year and want to ensure they receive the recognition they deserve for their contributions to the Commonwealth.”

To be eligible for the Virginia Fantastic 50, a company must be privately held with headquarters in Virginia, show revenues between $200,000 and $200 million, and demonstrate positive revenue growth and positive net income in its most recent fiscal year over the previous year. Companies are judged on four-year revenue history (2015-2018).

Solvaria’s consistent growth led to major milestones last year, including their office expansion last August, Angel Smith being hired as VP of Client Engagement, and the third year hosting their annual Betting Big on Tech charity casino night. Solvaria also received a number of other awards, including being named among Virginia Best Places to Work in Virginia for the third year in a row, and appearing on the Inc. 5000 List Of Fastest-Growing Private Companies.

QUOTES:

“It’s an honor to be named on the Virginia Chamber’s Fantastic 50 list,” said Greg Samuels, CEO at Solvaria. “Solvaria prides itself in the quality service we give to our clients, as well as our community engagement. Our growth over the past years has come from our hardworking team and the support from our great Richmond technology community. ”
