Solvaria Sponsors MathScience Innovation Center’s 50th Anniversary Celebration

April 27, 2017

Richmond, Va., – Solvaria, Richmond’s only IT consultancy focused exclusively on database services and strategic IT leadership, is a silver sponsor for the MathScience Innovation Center’s 50th Anniversary celebration.

The MSiC’s celebration will be held April 29, 2017 at the MSiC campus from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Proceeds from ticket sales and sponsorships will help provide technology upgrades needed to support and improve the programs the MSiC offers. The event will allow guests to witness the unveiling of MSiC’s newest resource, Science on a Sphere®, immerse yourself in STEM experiences in themed rooms, participate in a silent auction, and enjoy food and refreshments.

The MSiC operates as one of the few places where k-12 students and teachers work collaboratively on engaging, relevant, and work-force related Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) content. Annually, over 170,000 students learn STEM and SOL focused lessons both at the Center and in classrooms. The Center’s staff work with up to 3,000 educators to improve the ability of teachers to teach STEM-related content, helping them become the leader of K-12 math and science education for the eight Central Virginia school divisions.
