Charles is a Senior SQL Server DBA at Solvaria with decades of experience in SQL Server architecture, enterprise database strategy, and infrastructure modernization. He works closely with organizations to design scalable, secure database environments that support long-term growth while meeting evolving operational and compliance requirements. His background spans highly regulated and mission-critical industries, where reliability, performance, and resilience are essential.

Known for his strategic and practical approach, Charles helps clients modernize legacy systems, improve database performance, and build high-availability environments that reduce risk and support business continuity. He partners directly with leadership teams to align database infrastructure with broader business goals, ensuring systems are secure, scalable, and prepared for future demands.

Throughout his career, Charles has led complex SQL Server upgrades, large-scale data migrations, and HA/DR architecture initiatives across enterprise environments. His technical expertise includes SQL Server 2005–2022, Oracle, SSIS, SSRS, replication, CDC, PowerShell, VMware, VxRail, AWS RDS, and Qlik Replicate. He also brings deep experience in database development, enterprise architecture, storage area networks, virtualization technologies, and automation.

Charles holds both the Microsoft Certified Internet Technology Professional (MCITP) – DBA and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) – DBA certifications.
