Richmond, Va., – Solvaria, Richmond’s only IT consultancy focused exclusively on database services and strategic IT leadership, has achieved Microsoft’s Gold Competency in Data Analytics as of Q2 2018. The Gold Competency in Data Analytics is Microsoft’s highest level of certification and is only awarded to companies that have demonstrated expertise in business intelligence and data science. Now a Gold Partner in both Data Analytics and Data Platform, businesses that achieve this level of competency are among the top one percent of Microsoft elite partners worldwide.

Solvaria achieved this competency six months after launching its Data Analytics practice. These services were launched to add another level of value to the organization’s Database Services branch of business. Microsoft Gold Certified Partners receive a rich set of benefits, including access, training, and support, giving them a competitive advantage in the channel.

As one of the requirements for attaining Gold Certified Partner status, Solvaria had to declare a Microsoft Competency. Microsoft Competencies are designed to help differentiate a partner’s capabilities with specific Microsoft technologies to customers looking for a particular type of solution. Each competency has a unique set of requirements and benefits, formulated to accurately represent the specific skills and services that partners bring to the technology industry.
